Marianthi Hareras
Clinical Research Coordinator
Marianthi graduated from Temple University in 2023 with a B.S. in neuroscience and a minor in criminal justice. Her primary focus in undergrad was neurodegenerative disease, where she wrote her thesis on Tau as an initiating factor in sporadic Alzheimer’s Disease. Prior to her time at Penn, Marianthi worked in a neurology practice at Paoli Hospital. She joined the FTD Center in 2024, and is currently a clinical research coordinator working on observational research studies which aim to improve current diagnostic tools, create new modalities for diagnostic, and contribute to the development of therapeutic treatments. She hopes to gain clinical research experience working with FTD related disorders to help her prepare for graduate school.
